How can my family contact me?
In the event of an emergency, your family should refer to the Emergency Contact Sheet with Global Volunteers' after-hours numbers and in-country contacts you'll receive about a month prior to your departure. Please leave a copy with all who may need to reach you.

Can I make international phone calls?
A phone is available in the hotel lobby if you have an international calling card. There is good cell phone reception, if your phone has international access.

Is internet service available?
High speed internet access is available in the Global Volunteers lounge at the hotel and wireless service is provided throughout the hotel. There are a few internet cafes in the nearby Pelourinho (historic district).
