Global Volunteers

Orientation

Nan joined our small but powerful team today and we had great fun getting acquainted.  Wang Baoli did a great job getting us oriented to Xi’an and the job at hand.  We came up with four team goals:

                 1.  To teach English

                 2.  To support the goals of Global Volunteers

                 3.  To Learn about the Chinese people

                 4.  To have fun.

 

We volunteered for the extra jobs:

                 1.   Annette is journal manager

                 2.   Nan is our spare time activities manager

                 3.   Wes is photographer.

 

We met the teachers and some students from the Bio-Technical school where we will be teaching.  We were all touched by their welcoming attitude and enthusiasm.  Everyone seems excited about the task at hand and enthusiasm is everything.
