How can my family contact me while I am in Ghana?
In the event of an emergency, your family should refer to the Emergency Contact Sheet that you will receive prior to your departure for Ghana. Please leave a copy with anyone who might need to reach you.
Can I make international phone calls?
There are telecommunication centers and pay phones where international phone calls can be placed. However, calls placed through telephone operators can be expensive. A phone card can be purchased for US$5 and will give you about 150 units, or about three minutes for calls to the U.S.
Is internet service available?
Some telecommunication centers in the cities of Tema and Accra have Internet services.
