Born and raised in Aleksandrovac, Serbia, Ana traveled around Europe, the USA and Carribean, lived in London for 12 years, before finally settling down in Italy with her two (now teenage) children in 2002. You can read Ana's expanded profile here.

All our USA staff and volunteer team leaders are trained and experienced in managing diverse groups of people. All have served on one or more volunteer teams, and have completed our intensive week long team-leader training seminar. Further, all our team leaders are evaluated by the volunteers on each program, and must achieve an established level of performance in order to continue leading Global Volunteers teams.
