Our country managers have served on one or more volunteer teams, and each year are required to complete our intensive two-week training seminars in Minnesota. They're experienced in managing diverse groups of people, and are formally evaluated by each volunteer team. County Managers must achieve an established level of performance in order to continue leading Global Volunteers teams. You'll receive a description and contact information for your Peru Country Manager approximately four weeks before your service program begins.

"We just wanted to let you know our Peru program was everything we expected and more. Our team leader was absolutely wonderful! She took such good care of us, going above and beyond in her job to make sure we were all having a great experience. We have rarely met someone who worked so hard and was so dedicated to the job."
~ Glen and Kathy Sorte, Peru volunteers

"I have never met such a remarkable, capable young woman. Edith is totally impressive. She anticipated and planned for our every move. She is never late. She is so very positive. I just loved her. I have just never met anyone as extraordinary as she." ~ Sue Myers, 2012 Ecuador volunteer
