Myrian taught English as a Second Language at the University level, and was a professor at the Universidad Cientifica del Sur.
Magdalena holds a Liberal Arts diploma, and worked as a strategic planner, editor and translator for a number of multinational and Peruvian entities, including eight years at UNICEF. Working with "Every Child UK" in Lima, she directly managed a wide range of tasks from field work to design of external relations and fundraising.
Our country managers have served on one or more volunteer teams, and each year are required to complete our intensive two-week training seminars in Minnesota. They're experienced in managing diverse groups of people, and are formally evaluated by each volunteer team. County Managers must achieve an established level of performance in order to continue leading Global Volunteers teams.
You'll receive a description and contact information for your Peru Country Manager approximately four weeks before your service program begins.
