Dorota was named Global Volunteers Staff Person of the Year in 2001 and 2004, and consistently receives the highest possible ratings on volunteer evaluations. Further, she has a degree in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), a field she has been working in for some five years, and a master's degree in applied linguistics through the University of Warsaw.
"Dorota is helpful, respectful, incredibly diligent and hard-working. She attends to each team member every day to see how they are doing both personally and in their assignments. This is my seventh program. She is a superb leader."
~Judy Boyd, Poland volunteer
All our Country Managers and volunteer team leaders are trained and experienced in managing diverse groups of people. All have served on one or more volunteer teams, and have completed our intensive two-week team-leader training seminar in Minnesota. Further, all our team leaders are evaluated by the volunteers on each program, and must achieve an established level of performance in order to continue leading Global Volunteers teams. You'll receive program and contact information from Dorota approximately four weeks before your service program begins.
"Dorota is exceptional. She's kind, caring, accommodating, helpful, sympathetic…a wonderful leader and human being."
