Portugal Team Leader
Most Global Volunteers service programs are managed by on-site staff who live in the communities we serve. However, in a few places, including Portugal, Global Volunteers USA staff and volunteer team leaders manage the programs by traveling to and from the host community with the volunteers. Virtually all these team leaders have led several teams to different program locations. Some have managed 20 Global Volunteers service programs. All our USA staff and volunteer team leaders are trained and experienced in managing diverse groups of people. All have completed our intensive team-leader training seminar. Further, all our team leaders are evaluated by the volunteers on each program, and must achieve an established level of performance in order to continue leading Global Volunteers teams.
