You can be assured that your help is needed and wanted, because all Global Volunteers programs are rooted in local development plans, and guided by local leaders and consultants.
Our "Adventures in Service" are unique and genuinely helpful volunteer programs for you and your family. "Boomers" contribute to Global Volunteers significantly:
- "Boomers" comprise about 30 percent of our volunteers.
- Team participation by "Boomers" has increased six-fold in the last decade.
- More intergenerational family groups are volunteering today than in past years.
- More than 30 percent of volunteers join another Global Volunteers program and refer their friends.
