Volunteer In South Africa:
Home of Nobel Peace prize-winners Archbishop Desmond Tutu and former President Nelson Mandela, South Africa is a land of contrasts and promise. The peaceful transition of South Africa from one of the world's most repressive societies into a stable democracy is one of the 20th century's most remarkable success stories. Today, the people of South Africa inspire freedom- seeking societies worldwide.
Our new partnership with the village of Malungeni builds on the local people's progress since the end of apartheid. You can help this small rural community improve its educational, economic and social capability while gaining a rare, first-hand perspective of villager's daily life. If you are especially flexible and enjoy the challenge of establishing new relationships, help us build a foundation for intercultural understanding and respect in South Africa!

"We welcome organizational assistance to advance the community and provide children and women with a sense of direction and motivation. We need Global Volunteers to help educate our young citizens, and to lend a much needed hand to maximize the outcomes and impacts of our social programmes." ~ Tribal Chief Ngubesizwe Madikizela
