Volunteer Vacation In Vietnam:

Work with Vietnamese TeensVietnam is a developing country with wonderfully friendly people, stunning landscapes and a government that is opening to the West. Global Volunteers was invited by the Ministry of Education and Training to teach conversational English to high school and university students in Hanoi, and youth at a local "children's village." If you're "hands on" and enjoy teaching or light physical work, you're greatly needed on a service program.

Our hosts explain that Vietnam's long-term development and ability to communicate in the global marketplace depends upon the high-priority effort to make English their language of instruction.  On occasion, volunteers with professional backgrounds in economics, law, business, and finance can offer lectures in those areas in partner universities.

"Opening our doors to volunteers from America has been a great success for our students and our teachers, especially in a world where speaking and writing English is becoming increasingly important."
~ Dr. Nguyen Van Hoa, Headmaster of Ngyyen Binh Khiem High School
